It’s the most-excellent effort by Alyson Pate to provide housing and training for young men who fall out of foster care and have no family support to help them into adulthood. The annual WINGS Hoe-Down “Friend Raiser” is Thursday, Oct. 21. from 5:30 to 9:30,  at the Hood River Armory. Larkspur will be playing. Eat BBQ, play poker and have a generally good time.
