It’s a mixed-use building, not a pita place, or a bingo place

You may have seen the new construction along 12th Street just north of Pine Street, and neighboring businesses Hood River Barre (yoga) and Spoke and Sail Cider.

Several months back, we ran across a new business filing for an enterprise named Pitabingo LLC. Hmm? Pita … and … bingo? We called its registered agent, Eileen Garvin, and finally connected to … connect the dots.

The business is the name of the partnership that she, her husband, Brendan Ramey, and builder Billy Sullivan formed to erect the mixed-use structure now taking frame south of the Farm Stand. The name combines the names of their dogs, Pita and Bingo.

The buildingĀ (clearly) is two stories. The ground floor can be leased for its entire 2,000 square feet, or divided into two spaces of equal size. The north space is plumbed and wired for a commercial kitchen, should one want.

Upstairs — accessed via stairwells on the alley side — will be two two-bedroom apartments. Each will have deck space.

Garvin says completion is expected by late May or early June.
