You know there’s money out there in local, state and federal purchasing. You just don’t quite know how to tap into it.
Fear not. It all will be explained to Gorge businesses interested in selling to government, at a Connect 2 Oregon event from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 19, in the lecture hall of Building 2 at Columbia Gorge Community College campus in The Dalles.
Attendees can explore opportunities to do business with local, state, and federal agencies, learn how to become certified through state and federal programs, and meet with business and contracting specialists to get started.
Agency representatives will be on hand to answer your questions and provide technical guidance. Among agencies taking part are Business Oregon, the Small Business Development Center network, Oregon Department of Transportation, Oregon Procurement Technical Assistance Center, Department of Administrative Services Procurement Services, and Oregon Department of Corrections.
Attendees can also learn about local, state and federal educational and mentoring opportunities.
