Don’t you just hate finding yourself trapped in a really bad meeting?
Maybe even worse, don’t you just hate to see the people you’re supposed to be leading through meeting drifting off because they hate being trapped in the meeting?
Get on top of your meeting skills, with a Meeting & Process Facilitation Workshop.
It’s coming up, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays, Nov. 19 and Dec. 3.
It all goes down at the Columbia Gorge Community College Hood River Campus.
Trainer Mimi Maduro says it’s for teams, community volunteers, managers, supervisors — anyone who wants to contribute to or lead productive, participatory meetings and processes.
She says the workshop will impart skills to facilitate meetings, design purpose frameworks, learn about convergent and divergent thinking, deal with challenging dynamics, and more.
Tuition is $95, and there’s a fee of $35 for the “Facilitator’s Guide to Participatory Decision-Making” by Sam Kaner, which is required and will be provided to attendees at the first class.
To register, go to the college web site or call 541-506-6011.
