One of us here at Buzz central has been so busy getting older that he doesn’t have time to attend meetings of the Aging in the Gorge Alliance.
But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t. As one would expect, this effort from the inimitable Dr. Tina Castanares is bringing focus on all the needs that Gorge residents will face as they grow ever younger.
Dive into the discussion from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, in the fourth floor banquet room at Down Manor.
Launched in 2015, AGA has four active committees: Housing Advocacy; Transportation Advocacy; Multigenerational Activities; and Caregiver Support. A prospective fifth committee will be explored at the May 16 meeting.
AGA in 2016 led a “community read and conversation” project around the book, “The Age of Dignity.”
Tina says anyone is welcome to attend. All she asks is that you let her know if you plan to go.
