Love Green Drinks? Of course you do.
Tonight, May 10, Gorge Owned Business Network (aka GO!) hosts its monthly business social at The Renewal Workshop in Cascade Locks, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
The Renewal Workshop is revolutionizing the way the apparel industry works. Founded and based in the Gorge, this innovative company makes discarded clothing and textiles into something new. Renewed apparel is sold direct-to-consumer and in selected stores or back to the brand.
The Renewal Workshop operates a zero waste circular system that recovers the full value out of what has already been created as a way of serving customers, partners and planet. They partner with the world’s best-loved brands and retailers to recover value from their unmarketable returns and excess inventory and save them from the landfill.
Co-founder Nicole Bassett will provide a tour of the facility and share the origin and story of the business while you enjoy complimentary beer from Thunder Island and light appetizers by Bridgeside.
How to get there? Headed west on I-84, get off at Herman Creek and proceed west to 180 Herman Creek Lane, Cascade Locks.
